4tet, fourth disc in studio signed tanake, sees the light after various vicissitudes, those who have long awaited it are aware of it!
comes out on vinyl, 100 unique copies, different for the cover image
Gianluca Vassallo joins the project with Apologia del Quotidiano, an intimate photographic tale influenced by listening to the forthcoming 4tet music that, starting from the first of October 2018 for 100 days, will become cover of the album, every day different. The same will be published on the site and on the social media of the ensemble. Those interested in buying vinyl can choose their favorite cover from those available, or if they prefer the progressive number from 1 to 100 copies, which will be printed in fine art thanks to the precious contribution of Giuseppe Serra and his Artech Studio.
At the end of the photographic campaign will follow the exhibition of all 100 covers with a musical event presenting the album, since then the shipment of the reserved copies will begin.

Non sapevo neppure esistessi fino ad un attimo fa ed è mezzo minuto che ti dico di andare.
E, sai, mi prude il naso. Proprio adesso. E devo scegliere se grattarmi o parlare. Se stare in me o non stare affatto.
E poi è morta Mary Ann, li dove è nata, a Macungie, Pennsylvania.
L’ho conosciuta un anno fa che aveva già 93 anni, e l’ho fotografata mentre le visitavano gli occhi.
Aveva una pelliccia di plastica tigrata, le mani profumate di qualcosa. Ha riso con me, tutto il tempo e poi è andata via. Proprio come ieri, quando la figlia mi ha scritto che il giorno prima le ha chiesto di cercarmi, che voleva ringraziarmi di averla fatta ridere tanto, per dirmi che quel giorno e i giorni che sono venuti era stata felice.
Hai capito? Sai di cosa parlo?
Hai ragione, nulla che ti riguardi, cose che prudono il naso.
Che domanda è? Ho pregato fno ai sette anni. Poi silenzio, ché il tempo vale.
Ah questo è il punto.
Non guarderò le tue foto. Cosa vuoi che ne sappia io, di fotografia, della tua, se non conosco l’odore della tua infanzia, se non so il suono che ti fa il mondo, se non ho amato il tuo primo amore, visto la tua prima luce. È solo che nulla vale e vale tutto. Soprattutto l’invisibile.
No, no, vai a fanculo tu, i maestri, la condivisione, la pace interiore.
